Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Install and repair mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Troubleshoot pumps, valves, and control panels
  • Work with instrumentation and telemetry systems
  • Adhere to lock-out/tag-out safety protocols
  • Perform confined space entry procedures

Nice-to-have

  • Proficiency operating a 1.5-ton crane truck
  • Experience with pump or motor repair
  • Welding skills and hydraulic knowledge
  • Ability to work with 440-volt electrical current
  • Trade school certification in fluid mechanics

Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of experience in water/wastewater or industrial trades
  • Valid Florida Driver's License at time of hire
  • Florida Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain within six months
  • Pass pre-employment substance screening
