Job Summary

  • The primary responsibilities will be to teach poultry and preventive medicine within veterinary and graduate school curricula and to lead outreach efforts in support of Ohio’s poultry producers and veterinarians.
  • Faculty effort is anticipated to be approximately evenly divided between teaching and outreach, with smaller portions of the appointment devoted to scholarly activity and professional or academic service.
  • This position is part of a larger hiring effort within the College of Veterinary Medicine to support the creation of a Center for Emerging Infectious Diseases as a component of the Protect OHIO initiative.
