Job Summary

  • The AIG Actuarial team support AIG’s businesses and are responsible for technical pricing, product development analytics and performance measurement in collaboration with Underwriters, Distribution, Operations and Financial Management.
  • Key accountabilities will include but not limited to: Support proactive, regular portfolio management to ensure sustainable profitable growth.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or other quantitative degrees
  • Prior general insurance experience
  • Demonstrated pricing, monitoring and portfolio management experience
  • Experience in programming across at least one of Python, R, and SQL an advantage
  • Experience with databases and proficient data extraction/manipulation skills an advantage
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines and prioritise own work
  • Proven track record of collaboration delivering quality, accurate results in an efficient manner
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders
