Job Summary

  • Position is responsible for planning, reviewing, and implementing all activities and functions of clinical transformation using Information Technology, providing ongoing managerial, technical and motivational leadership while supporting the values and objectives of Memorial Hermann Healthcare System.
  • The Clinical Pharmacy Informaticist will participate in clinical transformation through careful analysis of current processes and workflow and change management strategies that align with our strategic plan, leveraging available resources, metrics, benchmarks; and system standards across the enterprise.
  • The Clinical Pharmacy Informaticist is responsible for translating process and workflow decisions into educational materials leveraging change management and adult learning principles.

Key Requirements

  • Pharm.D or B.S in Pharmacy (prior to 2006)
  • Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Texas
  • One (1) year of pharmacy experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Working knowledge of pharmacology and pharmacy processes
  • Working knowledge of Information Systems in a healthcare setting
