Job Summary

  • The Senior EHS Engineer is responsible for leading the Environmental, Health, & Safety (EH&S) Compliance Monitoring Programs to build a proactive Safety culture.
  • This role supports all aspects of the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Management System at the J&J Surgical Vison, Milpitas, California as well as other J&J locations.
  • As an influential member of the different leadership teams, you will collaborate with internal business customers and domain authorities to ensure compliance with regulations and implementation of innovative EH&S techniques to identify EHS risks proactively.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of related work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • CIH, CHMM, CSP, and/or ISO 14001:2015 Lead Auditor certifications preferred
  • Manufacturing/R&D experience in a highly regulated environment preferred
