Job Summary

• Performs a variety of general laundry and housekeeping/cleaning duties to provide quality laundry service and to maintain the nursing home in a sanitary manner, and free from offensive orders.
• Essential duties include making available clean linen for resident care, maintaining linen in good repair, collecting laundry, sorting, treating, washing, drying, folding, and delivering clean laundry items to resident rooms.
• The position requires basic math skills, the ability to read and understand directions, and the ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
