The NC Department of Administration is seeking a Vehicle Equipment Operator II to manage and maintain state-owned vehicles, including providing carwash services and assisting with mechanical tasks. The ideal candidate should possess experience operating towing vehicles and automotive mechanical skills, along with effective customer service abilities

Job Summary

  • This position is responsible for providing carwash services and support for the processing, assignment and surplus of state-owned vehicles.
  • Maintain MFM Tow Trucks ensure all fluids and equipment is in proper operational order.
  • Be able to travel statewide on a daily basis and able to stay overnight occasionally.
