Job Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants to maintain the highest degree of quality care at all times.
The role involves administrative duties, medication management, personnel functions, nursing care, staff development, safety and sanitation oversight, and equipment and supply management.
The Charge Nurse participates in quality assurance programs, facility surveys, and ongoing education to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards.
