PATH is seeking a Veterinary Infectious Disease Surveillance Advisor for its STRIDES Project in Indonesia, focusing on strengthening zoonotic disease surveillance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in epidemiology and public health, particularly in animal health, to enhance multisectoral surveillance systems
Job Summary
The Veterinary Infectious Disease Surveillance Advisor will support the implementation of surveillance activities under the STRIDES program, including animal health and zoonotic disease surveillance in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and other GHS partners.
Responsibilities include leading the development, coordination, and implementation of surveillance activities which involves integrated surveillance across animal and human health surveillance systems for priority zoonotic diseases.
The advisor will serve as a technical expert on animal and human disease surveillance aligning with Joint External Evaluation results, International Health Regulations, and other global guidelines.

Key Requirements
Master’s degree or its International Equivalent in epidemiology, public health, veterinary medicine or related field
10 years of relevant international experience in surveillance systems

Experience working with iSIKHNAS, EWARS, and SIZE surveillance systems
