PATH is seeking a Veterinary Infectious Disease Surveillance Advisor for its STRIDES Project in Indonesia, focusing on strengthening zoonotic disease surveillance. Job Summary

  • The Veterinary Infectious Disease Surveillance Advisor will support the implementation of surveillance activities under the STRIDES program, including animal health and zoonotic disease surveillance in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and other GHS partners.
  • Responsibilities include leading the development, coordination, and implementation of surveillance activities which involves integrated surveillance across animal and human health surveillance systems for priority zoonotic diseases.
  • The advisor will serve as a technical expert on animal and human disease surveillance aligning with Joint External Evaluation results, International Health Regulations, and other global guidelines.

  • Strong experience in Indonesia
  • English proficiency required
