Valmet is seeking a Service Engineer for their Seaham, UK location to provide maintenance and repair services for flow control equipment. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in mechanical engineering, especially with valves, and will be expected to work both in the workshop and occasionally at customer sites

Job Summary

  • As a Service Engineer, you will work mostly in our Seaham workshop and occasionally at customer sites throughout the UK / overseas to provide preventive and predictive maintenance of flow control (valve) equipment.
  • We are seeking candidates with a craft apprentice training in Mechanical Engineering fitting, qualified to Level 3 (BTEC / ONC) or higher with 6+ years’ experience in a service-oriented hands-on fitting / maintenance environment.
