Job Summary

• The NC Department of Adult Correction is responsible for safeguarding and preserving lives and property through prevention, protection, and preparation as well as the care, custody, and supervision of all adults sentenced for violating North Carolina laws.
• This position performs routine, preventive and corrective maintenance tasks ensuring assigned systems within an Adult Correctional Facility and support buildings are maintained safely and efficiently.
• The role requires supervision of skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled labor including offenders to assist in completing assigned tasks and supporting other staff during preventative maintenance.

• Two years progressive experience in trade areas
