The primary role of the Welding/Fabrication Supervisor is to manage the technical aspects of the welding/fabrication area to ensure compliance with applicable EN and ASME codes and act as the first line of management accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the weld/fabrication and pipe shop areas

Job Summary

  • The primary role of the Welding/Fabrication Supervisor is to manage the technical aspects of the welding/fabrication area to ensure compliance with applicable EN and ASME codes and act as the first line of management accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the weld/fabrication and pipe shop areas.
  • This includes, but is not limited to, people management of the weld and fabrication teams when allocating daily tasks, managing performance and development issues, workflow, as well as meticulously always maintaining housekeeping standards and KPI’s.

Key Requirements

  • Proven track record in building effective teams

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Time served welder or equivalent hands-on work experience
  • CWEng or European Welding Engineer certified or other formal qualification advantageous
  • Working knowledge and experience of ASME and EN weld procedures qualification
  • Valid right to work in the UK
  • Able to obtain security clearance
