Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
  • Current Arkansas Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (LRCP)
  • High School diploma plus 2 years experience OR Associate's degree
  • Ability to lift and carry 100+ lbs
  • Proficiency with N95 masks and PAPR equipment

Nice-to-have

  • Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care
  • ACCS, NPS, ACLS certifications
  • Experience with arterial blood gases (ABG)
  • Commitment to teamwork and diversity
  • Positive image projection for UAMS Medical Center

Key Requirements

  • Must hold CRT certification
  • Must hold current Arkansas LRCP license
  • Minimum 2 years direct respiratory care experience or Associate's degree
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States required
  • Must pass pre-employment criminal background and drug testing
