Job Summary
This position functions to assist the licensed pharmacist in providing pharmaceutical services to patients while supporting nursing and medical staff.
The technician must prepare and package medications, distribute supplies, and ensure all medications are in date and secure according to hospital regulations.
Technicians are required to participate in continuing educational opportunities to meet annual competency requirements and develop ongoing skills within the department.

Key Requirements
High School graduate or equivalent
Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred
0-2 years of relevant experience preferred
Must complete PTCB certification within 12 months of hire
Maintain current PTCB certification throughout employment
