Job Summary

  • The Grounds Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, cleanliness, appearance, and maintenance of the Long Beach Amphitheater grounds and public areas.
  • This position requires strong leadership, organization, communication, attention to details and strong scheduling experience and labor relations awareness in a fast-paced live entertainment environment.
  • Employees are covered by a collective bargaining agreement with Unite Here Local 11, and union membership is a condition of employment.

Salary

Base: $31.00 per hour increasing to $33.50 per hour effective October 1, 2026; Bonus/Equity: Not specified; Benefits: Union coverage under Unite Here Local 11 collective bargaining agreement

Key Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2–4 years of supervisory experience
  • Experience working in a unionized environment preferred
  • Working knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA standards preferred
  • Basic computer proficiency including email and scheduling systems
