  • Rehabilitation team members work within a specific team structure to offer inpatient or outpatient rehabilitation services to patients with disorders and conditions associated primarily with traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, or other neurogenic disorders, orthopedic problems, burns, amputations, or chronic pain.
  • The Speech Language Pathologist will provide specialized treatments to help the patient explore and identify productive avocational interests, including assessment of interests and introduction to various methods used to explore resources post discharge.
  • Team members assess patients, establish plans of care, provide treatment techniques, educate families, facilitate continuing care planning, evaluate service quality, and participate in outcomes management activities.

Key Requirements

  • Licensed in the State of Ohio
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC/SLP)
  • Master's degree required
  • One-two years experience in a medical setting preferred
  • Cleared through the National Database of Practitioners
