Trellis Paradise is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in managing nursing staff and providing healthcare services to residents. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, 3-5 years of management experience in a long-term care facility, and strong communication and leadership skills

Job Summary

  • Assists the Director of Nursing in directing activities of licensed and non-licensed personnel whom provide health care and nursing services to residents on a 24-hour, 7day per week basis.
  • Works with the DON to recruit, hire and train nursing staff, and assists with employee appraisals and resolving problems including disciplinary action.
  • Assists the DON in the design, implementation and evaluation of nursing systems that ensure consistent delivery of care and maintains and promotes resident rights.
