Job Summary
The role is integral to ensuring a safe and healthy working environment through training, awareness, and compliance with corporate policies and federal regulations.
The Sr. EHS Specialist will lead efforts in analyzing and improving the site's safety culture while developing Job Safety Analyses and risk assessments.
This position requires active participation in the site's emergency response Incident Command Team and rotating on-call duties for plant operations.

Must-have
5-10 years EHS professional experience
B.S. in Occupational Safety or related field
Knowledge of OSHA Title 29 CFR 1910/1926
Experience with hazardous materials in pharma
Ability to wear full body suit PPE
Conduct Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and risk assessments
Nice-to-have
CSP, CHMM, CIH, or PE certification
Experience with FDA cGMP practices
Strong interpersonal and conflict management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Participation in continuous improvement culture
Key Requirements
Minimum 5-10 years EHS experience
B.S. degree in Safety Engineering or related field
Experience in pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing
Working knowledge of NC Division of Environmental Quality regulations
