Provides emergency medical care to sick and injured patients in prehospital and hospital environments, effectively communicating with all involved persons and departments.
Performs basic and advanced EMS skills including interventions, medication/vaccine administration, and use of basic and advanced equipment within the AEMT scope of practice.
Responsible for driving emergency vehicles, determining illness/injury extent, providing advanced life support, completing documentation, and maintaining equipment and inventory.
