A licensed practical nurse (LPN) is a nurse that monitors patients’ health, administers basic medical care, provides basic comfort care, performs record keeping, reports patients’ health status and maintains a clear line of communication between a patient, their family and their caregivers.
The LPN in this role will support the OBGYN team that provides specialized care for women, including comprehensive prenatal care, preventive health screenings and general gynecology.
