The Staff Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats patients, communicates with families, physicians and other health team members and maintains documentation of services in the medical records.
Essential duties include evaluating patients within twenty-four (24) hours, developing effective treatment plans, and supervising Occupational Therapy Assistants.
The role requires recording evaluations, daily treatment notes, weekly progress notes, and participating in discharge planning and staff in-service training.
