Job Summary

  • This role serves as the key leader guiding customers through the deployment lifecycle and solution delivery for Workday's Government practice in the West Region.
  • The Engagement Manager is responsible for ensuring successful implementation of Workday products on large projects while managing to agreed-upon budgets and delivering profitably.
  • Candidates will work with a culture rooted in integrity and empathy, partnering with Delivery leadership and consultants to resolve issues impacting project scope and timeframes.

Salary

Base: $122,800 - $184,200 USD (Beaverton); Base: $116,600 - $207,200 USD (Other US locations); Bonus/Equity: Eligible for Workday Bonus Plan and annual refresh stock grants

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • 6+ years ERP implementation experience
  • State and Local Government domain expertise
  • Workday HCM Financials or Payroll knowledge
  • Project P&L ownership and budget management
  • Concurrent project portfolio management

Nice-to-have

  • Public sector business development experience
  • Strong conflict resolution and influencing skills
  • Prior consulting or internal consultant background
  • Ability to travel 50 percent or more
  • Experience managing third-party vendors

Key Requirements

  • 6+ years managing Medium/Large Enterprise ERP implementations
  • Experience implementing Workday, Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP, or similar applications
  • Solid grasp of Financials, HCM, Payroll, or Services Procurement business areas
  • Demonstrable experience in Federal, State & Local Government sectors
  • Principal level candidates require 8+ years of relevant experience
