The Medical Assistant is responsible for ensuring efficient flow of patients through the health care setting by facilitating examination and treatment of patients in a culturally sensitive manner with exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities include preparing patient for visit, performing limited procedures, scheduling diagnostic tests, maintaining patient records, organizing clinic/exam rooms, and maintaining supply/equipment inventory.

Key Requirements
High School Graduate
Accredited Medical Assistant program graduate
One year Medical Assistant experience
CCMA or NCRMA certification
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS or BCLS) - AHA within 14 days
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) - NHA preferred
