Process human tissue and body fluid specimens
Operate microtome to section embedded tissue
Perform immunohistochemical tests on tissue sections
Embed surgical tissue specimens properly
Execute routine and special staining procedures
Maintain laboratory equipment and quality control logs
Nice-to-have
Experience working in high volume laboratory environment
Comfortability embedding large and small specimens
Prior Labcorp experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and organization
Familiarity with laboratory SOPs and safety protocols
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Histology or related science
1+ years of prior grossing experience required
Histology and/or ASCP certifications preferred
Pass standardized color blindness test
Ability to read all labels and documents accurately
