Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Pacemaker and ICD follow-up care
12 lead EKG and rhythm strip interpretation
Patient flow management
Use of pacemaker/ICD database systems
Telephonic device analysis
Aseptic wound care techniques
Nice-to-have
Effective verbal and written communication
Self-directed work ability
Flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays
Adaptation to specific patient populations
Key Requirements
Registered nurse diploma required
1 year experience with pacemakers and/or ICDs
Current RN license in state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing
Preferred Cardiac Technician certification
Preferred Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
