Job Summary

  • The Veterinary Technician will support the Veterinarian by performing radiographs, collecting blood and fecal samples, routine animal care procedures such as dog dentals, physical exams, monitoring animal health and other veterinary laboratory procedures as well as surgical requirements.
  • Ensure animal care complies with regulatory guidelines and ethical standards, interpret and follow basic study protocols, and apply good research practices (GxP) principles.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Science
  • Associate degree in Laboratory Animal Technology
  • 1+ years of experience in animal handling
  • CVT - Certified Veterinary Technician
  • Experience in a vivarium setting
