Job Summary
Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) work closely with people of all ages who have intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), providing support in day habilitation centers or in the community.

Implement person-centered, individualized plans
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapeutic environment
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Administer medication as prescribed
Transport and escort individuals
Collect and record data on behavior
Complete and maintain necessary trainings and certifications

Key Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to meet essential physical demands
Effective written and oral communication skills
Basic computer skills
Must hold or obtain and maintain SCIP-R
Must hold or obtain and maintain additional certifications
Ability to work beyond regularly scheduled hours
Valid Driver’s License and Van certification (if required)
