Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Five years professional emergency management experience
  • Experience working in an EOC as Command or General Staff
  • Valid Driver's License required at time of application
  • Ability to respond within one hour during on-call duty
  • Management of professional individual contributors

Nice-to-have

  • Preferred experience supervising emergency management staff
  • Demonstrated knowledge of NIMS and National Planning Frameworks
  • Experience with Emergency Management Accreditation Program (EMAP)
  • Professional certifications such as CEM or CO-CEM
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Three years of functional or operational management experience
  • Valid Driver's License
