The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking an Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Performance/Strength & Conditioning to lead the strength and conditioning program for its Division I athletic teams. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and relevant certifications, with preference for candidates holding a Master’s degree and experience in Division I athletics

Job Summary

  • The Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Performance/Strength & Conditioning will be responsible for planning, organizing, coaching and implementing all phases of a Division I athletic strength and conditioning program with emphasis on the safety and personal welfare of the student-athletes.
  • Oversees the entire strength and conditioning program for 15 varsity athletic teams consisting of 235 student-athletes, serving as primary coach for Men’s and Women’s Basketball.
  • Responsible for budget management for Sports Performance/Strength & Conditioning, including allocation of resources, equipment and supplement purchase and replacement planning, and supervises full-time staff and graduate assistants.
