Job Summary

  • The IDI Genomics and Microbiology Solutions Laboratory (IDI-GEMS) supports internal and external infectious disease communities with services including next-generation sequencing, bioinformatics, tick-borne pathogen testing, and the Bacillus Genetic Stock Center.
  • This role will primarily support operations in the Buckeye Tick Test laboratory and the sequencing laboratory, while also performing sequencing service and BGSC duties.
  • The position involves active participation in outreach to raise public awareness about ticks and tick safety, and may include attending scientific conferences.
