The Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) oversees the day-to-day operations of the rehabilitation department for assigned facility or facilities, including delivery and coordination of direct and indirect services.
The DOR is responsible for implementing new programs to meet the clinical and operational needs of the facility and its residents, holding administrative authority and accountability.
Essential functions require the ability to stand and walk frequently, lift and manipulate objects up to 100 pounds, and effective communication for interaction with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
