Job Summary

  • As a Monitor Technician, you will perform ongoing surveillance of patients' cardiac monitors and provide appropriate nursing staff with timely notification of changes in cardiac rhythm and/or hemodynamics that could impact patient condition.
  • A caregiver in this position works 3 12-hour days from 7:00A M - 7:30P M, including rotating weekends and holidays.
  • The Central Monitoring Unit (CMU) serves as a live control center, with caregivers monitoring patients 24/7 to enhance care and safety.

Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Knowledge of basic patient care activities
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology
  • One year patient care experience
