The Licensed Practical Nurse delivers comprehensive patient care including assessment, treatment, and care planning under the supervision of an RN or Physician.
Responsibilities include triaging patient phone calls, documenting interventions in the electronic medical record, and administering prescribed medications according to the five rights.
Per diem employees are required to work a minimum of 24 clinical hours every 4 weeks, including at least one weekend shift and holiday coverage.
