Key Requirements
High school diploma / GED
At least 21 years of age
Valid Arkansas Driver’s license
Two years certified law enforcement experience
Certified by Arkansas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Training
Possess a General Certificate
Basic computer skills
Ability to prepare and write police reports
Ability to communicate and maintain rapport
Ability to engage and maintain control of persons
Knowledge of law enforcement practices
Ability to walk 8 to 12 miles in a 12-hour shift
