Job Summary

• The Policy Analyst provides high-level analytical, advisory, and implementation support to the Office of Head Start (OHS) in the development, refinement, interpretation, and implementation of policy and regulatory guidance.
• This role supports mission critical policy initiatives by conducting research and analysis, drafting policy materials, supporting internal decision making, and translating complex statutory and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable guidance for internal and external stakeholders.
• The Policy Analyst works closely with OHS leadership, subject matter experts, and regional partners to ensure policies are data informed, operationally feasible, and aligned with federal requirements, while supporting continuous quality improvement across Head Start and Early Head Start programs.
