Job Summary

  • The RAI-MDS Coordinator is responsible for supporting the long-term care home in the management and sustainability of RAI-MDS processes to ensure the validity of clinical and quality outcomes that support the provision of care and services, in accordance with best practice, interRAI and legislative requirements.

Key Requirements

  • Current registration with provincial College of Nurses as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)
  • Minimum of three (3) years clinical, project leadership or management experience
  • Minimal 1-year experience in the RAI Coordinator role
  • Current knowledge of RAI-MDS 2.0
  • Experience in the use of Point Click Care system
  • Thorough knowledge of LTC legislation
  • Current (within 12 months) Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening (VPS)
