Key Requirements

  • High School or Equivalent
  • minimum three years acute care hospital outpatient coding
  • Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT)
  • Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) preferred
  • demonstrated coding knowledge with 90% accuracy or above
  • experience with inpatient coding and APRDRG preferred
