Salary
Base: £43,700 per annum (£21.01 p/h); Bonus/Equity: £0.50p/h HGV licence bonus, £3,000 sign-on and retention bonus, £1,000 referral bonus; Benefits: x1.25 overtime rate, x2 Sundays rate, x2 Bank Holiday working, day in lieu, standby payment of £16 per night, callout payment of £30, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, pension scheme, training, physiotherapy, private GP, Specsavers benefits, cycle to work scheme, Perks at Work Platform
Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs
Service vehicles to VOSA standards
Complete body and chassis repairs
Repair hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic systems
Follow health and safety procedures
Nice-to-have
Passion for vehicle maintenance
Commitment to high standards
Proactive and detail-oriented
Willingness to travel and work flexible hours
Key Requirements
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Proven experience in commercial vehicle repair
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Awareness of health and safety requirements
IRTEC qualification or HGV Class 2 licence is a bonus
