Job Summary
This role is responsible for directing, coordinating, and validating field vendor work to ensure reliable fiber and optical connectivity across Meta's production environments.
The incumbent must provide technical direction on optical fault isolation, restoration efforts, and validate all vendor-performed optical testing including OTDR and splicing activities.
Candidates are expected to participate in on-call rotations, lead incident response by managing vendor priorities, and drive root cause analysis to improve network reliability.

7+ years OSP fiber infrastructure experience
Directing vendor-based execution models
Optical fault isolation and restoration
Validating OTDR LS PM VFL test results
Fiber splicing oversight single and ribbon

Experience with large-scale multi-site networks
Knowledge of optical form factors SFP QSFP
GIS-based OSP documentation standards
Vendor performance management expertise
AI tool integration for workflow optimization
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
7+ years supporting OSP fiber and optical infrastructure
Experience operating in incident-based on-call environments
