Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Review supplier chemical and metallurgical processes
  • Conduct product and process surveillance at suppliers
  • Bilingual Spanish and English communication skills
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience with advanced degree
  • Willingness to travel 30% regularly to Mexico

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with laser machining and electro-discharge machining
  • Knowledge of brazing, coatings, welding, and heat treatment
  • Ability to coach suppliers on root cause corrective actions
  • Partnership with business units for overall quality improvement
  • Self-directed management of own schedule

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus 5 years experience OR Advanced degree plus 3 years
  • U.S. citizenship required for security access
  • Degree in Material Science or Engineering preferred
  • Proficiency in chemical/metallurgical processes like welding and heat treatment
