Job Summary
This role serves as the single global technical owner for China-sourced dies, ensuring robust quality, cost, and delivery across GMSA and future programs.
The successful candidate will provide technical leadership and coaching to China Joint Ventures and ME teams while driving the application of global die and press standards.
Candidates must possess strong project management skills to coordinate integrated planning across regions, suppliers, and JV partners to protect timing targets.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
10+ years global die sourcing experience
Die engineering and BIW stamped sheet metal knowledge
HSS and Class-A panel formability expertise
Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese
End-to-end die execution and tryout management
Press line configuration and integration skills
Nice-to-have
Experience with China JVs like SGMW or SGM
Familiarity with GM global tooling standards
Advanced proficiency in Siemens NX or AutoForm
Background in supplier development and vendor management
Ability to present to and influence senior leadership
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering
10+ years experience in global die sourcing or stamping ME
Eligibility to be hired locally in Shanghai, China
Proven experience leading complex multi-year die/tooling programs
