Key Requirements

  • Formal education equivalent of high school diploma
  • Four years specialized training/experience in library science, archival, or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in pertinent field preferred
  • Two years specialized training in library science, history or related field preferred
  • Experience in archives, museum or library setting preferred
  • Experience with digitization projects preferred
  • Understanding of metadata creation and MARC cataloging preferred
  • Knowledge of OCR output optimization preferred
  • Experience with grant management preferred
  • Knowledge of Arkansas history preferred
