Consult with and fabricate for faculty and graduate/undergraduate students the design and construction of research and educational equipment.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and service the fabrication shop equipment, CNC turning centers, and vertical machining centers.

Journeyman toolmaker skills
Journeyman status or equivalent welding experience
Sheet metal working experience
Proficiency in computer-aided drafting
Proficiency with computer-aided manufacturing and CNC machining
Proficiency in using woodworking tools
Extensive knowledge of machining material properties
Forklift operation and experience with rigging and lifting
