Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Perform repairs on pallet jacks and forklifts
  • Conduct preventative maintenance (PM) on equipment
  • Maintain safety logs and documentation
  • Follow Lock Out/Tag Out procedures
  • Manage battery charging area safety

Nice-to-have

  • Welding ability for equipment overhaul
  • Basic plumbing and drywall repair skills
  • Ability to work with little supervision
  • Experience purchasing tools from vendors

Key Requirements

  • Minimum six months previous mechanic experience
  • High School education or equivalent preferred
  • Trade school degree in mechanics preferred
