PaxOcean Engineering Pte. Ltd. is seeking a QA Assistant Engineer specializing in steel and piping for on-site inspection and quality assurance in shipbuilding. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of relevant experience and familiarity with industry codes and standards

Job Summary

  • Carry out inspection related to pipe work to ensure steel/piping system quality by conducting inspections, monitoring fabrication and installation, verifying material compliance, and managing quality documentation against project specifications and codes for shipbuilding/ship repair and ship conversion and QA-related activity.
  • Liaise with the ship-owner representative and class surveyors for QA inspection and maintain quality documents including inspection and test plans, inspection reports, material records, and final test reports.
  • Check all drawings according to owner and class specifications and ensure proper documentation of all drawings and calibration certificates.
