Job Summary

  • Delivers direct and indirect care to patients in an office setting utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members.
  • Instruct and educate patients and caregivers on a variety of topics including but not limited to disease management, medication use, and lifestyle modifications.

Key Requirements

  • RN: Associate’s Degree (AA)
  • RN: Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Preferred
  • LPN: One Year Certificate from College or Tech School
  • CMA: H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • CMA: Graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants
  • 1-3 years Health care experience Preferred
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support & First Aid - American Heart Association
  • Child Abuse Iowa Mandatory Reporter
  • Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter
  • Registered Nurse Iowa Board of Nursing (IBON)
