Job Summary
Functions as part of the dialysis health care team in providing safe and effective dialysis therapy for patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
Responsible for the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, assisting in the maintenance of a safe and clean working environment, and supporting the organization commitment to the Quality Enhancement Program.
The position provides direct patient care that regularly involves heavy lifting and moving of patients and assisting with ambulation, requiring frequent, prolonged periods of standing and bending over.

accurate documentation of patient treatment
clean and disinfect dialysis machine
perform and document intervention for unusual patient status
obtain all prescribed laboratory testing
clean blood spills immediately
prepare, organize, and efficiently utilize supplies
monitors patients performing self-care

Key Requirements
High School diploma or G.E.D. required
CMS-approved state and/or national certification
All appropriate state licensure, education, and training
