Job Summary

  • The Temporary Works Manager is accountable for the safe, compliant and timely delivery of Temporary Works across assigned packages at Hinkley Point C in accordance with BS 5975:2019 and CDM Regulations 2015.
  • This role combines governance and coordination responsibilities with oversight of engineering design and verification, ensuring that Temporary Works solutions are robustly conceived, independently checked, correctly implemented, inspected, certified, and removed without adverse impact on the Permanent Works.
  • The position involves leading and mentoring Temporary Works Supervisors and Coordinators, fostering collaboration across engineering, construction and supply chain partners to optimise design, programme and cost outcomes.

Key Requirements

  • Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status
  • CITB Temporary Works Coordinator certification
  • Temporary Works Design certification
  • Minimum 5 years lead Temporary Works Coordinator experience
  • Right to work in the UK
