MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center is seeking a part-time Patient Access Representative to provide patient-focused customer service, manage registration and insurance verification processes, and ensure financial requirements are met. The ideal candidate should have customer service experience, alongside strong communication and data entry skills

Job Summary

  • Provides patient focused customer service, performing outpatient & / or inpatient registration & insurance verification functions, collecting patient financial liability payments and ensuring that patients meet financial requirements.
  • Responsible for validating/obtaining and entering demographic, clinical, financial, and insurance information into the patient accounting system by interviewing the patient, family member and/or guarantor.

Key Requirements
