  • Ensures quality patient care in assigned areas of responsibility; Is responsible for the technical and scientific oversight of the assigned Laboratory section(s), trains and evaluates the technical competency of the section personnel.
  • Makes clinical / technical decisions to resolve problems, to meet Hospital and departmental goals and assure quality patient care.

  • 1 year internship Medical Technology program
  • California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License
  • National Certification ASCP
  • 4 years Experience Clinical Laboratory Medical Technologist
